As the Coronavirus pandemic takes over the world, we are all feeling our emotions being triggered. Some of us seem to be enjoying the time at home while others are having a more difficult time with it. The best thing to do is to not put pressure on yourself right now during this trying time. However, there will be plenty of opportunities within the time of the quarantine that you can take,  advantage of when finding yourself.

Here are 4 ways to find yourself during the quarantine.

1. Find Out Who You Really Are

You may carry so many labels given by the roles you have that are tied to your career, parenting role, and the traits that you have been told you have. Unfortunately, if you have a mental illness such as depression, you may tie your identity to that too. During this trying time, this could happen more. remember those are just labels. Who are you really? Separate those labels and dig deep down and find out who you really are.

2. Find Out Your True Passions

If you have been bogged down by responsibilities and if you are dealing with mental illness, you will likely have struggled to find out what you really want in life. During this time of solitude, you will have the opportunity to find out what you really want to do out of life. If you love crafting but never had a chance to do it for instance, now is your time to start.

3. Find Your True Faith

If you were raised in a religious home but you do not feel tied to the religion you were raised with, then this is the time that you will be feeling it the most. You may have felt this way for a while but kept it quiet because of feeling pressure from your family. What is it that you truly believe in? Do you believe in any type of Higher Power? That is where you start.

4. Learn About The Enneagram Or Myers-Briggs Typing©

The Enneagram and Myers-Briggs© typing models help you learn about who you are and can give you a lot of insight into yourself. You will find out why you lean towards some passions, likes, and have certain dislikes, as well as your own behaviors. Those are a great thing to read up on during this time.
