Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.
Failure is my friend.
It might sting a little at times, but I understand that failure is my ticket to success. So when I fail, I just pick myself back up and happily continue moving forward, knowing that I am now closer to success than before.
Failure is a great teacher.
I learn everything I can from each failure. My understanding grows when I fail. I adjust my approach to make it more effective based on what I discovered in the failure.
Failure strengthens my spirit and inner resolve. I learn how to overcome disappointment and obstacles when I fail. I am unstoppable because of the failures I have endured in the past.
I am free of the fear of failure. Failure is a welcome passenger on my journey toward success.
Others may allow failure to stop them in their tracks. However, I use each failure as a motivation to continue progressing toward my goals. It is easy to be motivated by failure, because it means I am getting closer to success.
I can move from one failure to the next while maintaining my enthusiasm. As long as I continue to try, I can accept failure.
Today, I face my challenges directly and put forth my best effort. I accept any fails that come my way and resolve to double my efforts because I know that each failure brings me closer to success.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. What has been my biggest failure? What could I learn from it?
2. How would I live my life differently if I believed that failure was a necessary part of success?
3. How have I let a fear of failure influence my life?
