Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Accepting that reality makes me more prepared for what is to come.
I am aware that there are very few things that I have the power to control. My response to what happens to me and around me is my responsibility and I choose to own that. My mind and soul are at ease because I avoid anxiety and tension.
The unknown produces both wanted and unwanted outcomes. My focus, in either case, is to take it all in stride. I am even-keeled in how I handle the unexpected.
When my responsibilities at work change, I recognize that growth comes from stepping outside my comfort zone. I tell myself that all the abilities and power I need are within me. Instead of feeling nervous about a new role, I exude confidence.
Anxiety comes when I anticipate a particular outcome, so I avoid such expectations. Giving that emotion the room to fester in my life makes me uneasy and unstable. I prefer to spend my days feeling at ease and content with whatever comes my way.
When I think about the possibilities that come from changing circumstances, I am more open to them.
Today, there are very few things that shake my soul or disturb my serenity. Change is the only constant in life and I am ready for it.
