Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.

Every experience holds a blessing!

There are times when I struggle to find the good in a particular situation. But although it is sometimes less than apparent, I believe it is there.

When I see my friends experience wins that I miss out on, I celebrate with them. Being able to share in joy brings me a sense of emotional wellness. That is a blessing.

Being in debt seems like an impossible situation to recover from, but I take a wiser view of it. Debt gives me the opportunity to double up my efforts at clearing it. It reminds me of the importance of putting in extra effort to gain added positive results.

As I contemplate changing careers, my mind zooms in on the lessons from the current one that I am able to take to the next.

The negative aspects of where I work today pale in comparison to the positive lessons learned. I am thankful to be able to take something good from this career to make the coming one more successful.

Ill health is stressful, but it reminds me that I am fortunate to be alive. It cues me into the importance of making healthier choices overall. Becoming sick shifts my attention to solutions. I alter my sleeping patterns and dietary standards and end up being better off.

Today, I take the time to reflect on my experiences and discover their value. I am happy for the patience that I exercise in picking out the blessing from whatever happens to me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How do I count my blessings?
2. How do I give back to others from the blessings that I receive?
3. How do I heal from an emotionally trying situation?
