Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.

Forgiveness keeps me from becoming resentful.

Hosting negative feelings in my heart is damaging to my quality of life. The worst feeling to carry is bitterness.

Forgiveness is a process that involves ridding my system of any negativity towards someone who offends me.

Leading with love is a good way to start. When I declare my love for the offender out loud, I feel any anger start to dissipate. Although the person is sometimes a stranger, I allow myself to extend my love to them.

When I find it difficult to forgive, I take a look at my level of tolerance. Being intolerant gets in the way of forgiveness.

There are things happening around me each day that test my patience. Whenever my patience starts to wear thin, I lose my ability to think and act clearly. I notice my change in mood and immediately leave the stressful environment.

Doing this gives me some time to meditate and center myself. I know the state of mind that brings out wonderful results in me, so I meditate until I achieve it.

Today, I know that there is always an opportunity to choose a positive resolution to anything that offends me. I am willing to extend forgiveness to anyone who does something hurtful. My soul is the source of my energy and I commit to keeping it at peace.
