Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.
There is a lot of value in playing a support role in the lives of others.
It enriches my spirit and makes me feel like I am carrying out my destined role.
I am an advocate for students who are unable to afford full-time education. I search for sponsorship opportunities that allow them to stay in school. Facilitating basic education for someone prepares them to be positive contributors to society.
It is reassuring to know that I am playing a part in building strong communities. I have a role in creating a sustainable world for those who are to come after me.
New employees benefit from my experience. I actively offer my guidance to them, so they are in a position to succeed on the job.
When the workplace is filled with knowledgeable and skilled people, the organization benefits from stronger performance. I enjoy being a part of the solution to build the company that I work for.
Anyone who asks me for advice receives it without hesitation.
Offering assistance allows me to think less of myself and more about another person. This is the ultimate gesture of selflessness. I am more conscious about the world around me when I take the time to give back to others.
Today, I find fulfillment in helping others succeed. There are greater rewards to giving to someone else than there are to focusing on myself.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. In what ways am I able to guide my children towards a life of success?
2. What does true success mean to me?
3. How willing am I to find opportunities for advancement for others?
