Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.

There is a time and place for everything.

I balance my alone time with my friends and community. It is important to me to give of myself in the same way others give of themselves to me.

Sometimes, time alone is essential. It allows me to re-center and refuel whenever my days are challenging. Those moments allow me to dig into the depths of my strength and fortitude and find the will to keep going. I use the quiet time to remind myself of how capable I am.

Sometimes being my own cheerleader is all I require to build resilience.

This inner strength that I constantly build also serves to strengthen others. I treasure being a rock of support.

Sharing my time with others also allows me to have a bigger family to lean on. When I share my life with others, I become closer to them and feel their love. It feels good to share wonderful energy with others around me. It revives me when I am feeling sad.

Community time allows me to share my talents. Whenever someone calls on me to assist with a cause, I readily make myself available.

Today, I make time for myself and for others. It is wonderful to know that I have enough positive energy to strengthen and feed myself and those around me. It is a joyful time when I achieve balance between self-care and outreach.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What are some of the things I do during my alone time?
2. How do I find opportunities to be charitable to the wider community?
3. What are some things I like to do with my friends and family?
