Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.
I place a lot of importance on living a balanced life.
Taking care of my emotional health is an important element of that balance. When I practice even temperance, I avoid being consumed by any emotional state.
There are some situations that evoke anger or sadness. I believe that it is healthy to allow myself to process those feelings in a constructive way.
Whenever I feel angry, I take a few moments to myself. I use that time to evaluate the source of the anger and tackle it for resolution. When I confront the emotion, I avoid overwhelming myself with bottled up feelings.
Of course, I am sad when I experience something unfortunate. Being strong in those circumstances means being honest with my feelings.
I remind myself to take time for renewal and repair. When I express my feelings, I start the process of replacing the sadness with more positive emotions.
When I spend time with my loved ones, I am filled with feelings of love and happiness. That is a good way for me to balance my emotions.
I restrain myself from going overboard with any emotion I experience. It takes conscious meditation and focus to remain balanced in this way. But the time I spend for the resulting peace and mental health is well worth it.
Today, I am committed to maintaining a healthy state of mind as I go through various life experiences.
