Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. I let my smile light up my face.

I cheer myself up. My smile keeps me in good spirits and I spread happiness and warmth wherever I go.

I show others that I appreciate them. They can see by my face that I enjoy their company. I thank them for the kindness and generosity they have shown me.

I make new friends. Being approachable helps me to meet interesting strangers and broaden my network. I start conversations easily and let others know that I care about what they have to say.

I smile when I run into obstacles. I look for the bright side in each situation. I try to be amused by creative parking and malfunctioning technology instead of becoming irritated.

I smile when I am feeling under pressure. Staying calm drains away the tension and allows me to think more clearly and creatively.

I smile when I encounter something beautiful. The smell of flowers, the sound of my children playing, and the sight of a delicious home-cooked meal waiting for me on the table when I arrive home all delight me.

I smile when I need a boost. Overdue bills and loud neighbors are easier to handle when I decide to overlook the small stuff and focus on my blessings.

Today, I remember to smile and let my happiness show. My good feelings are contagious.
