Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.

Emotions are healthy because they keep me connected to what inspires me. But I turn away from any feeling that defeats my peace of mind.

Anger is damaging when I allow it to fester. It takes hold of my soul and causes me to treat others unfairly. So, when I get angry, I diffuse it quickly.

Deep breathing gets me to a point of calmness where I am able to think rationally. When I am thinking clearly, I can dissect the issue and arrive at a resolution.

Guilt has little room to occupy my soul. I keep myself away from feelings of guilt by living according to my conscience.

Acting according to my moral code ensures that I treat myself and others with respect and honesty. Living with integrity and out of interest for others’ well-being is healthy. It allows me to maintain strong relationships with myself and those around me.

Sometimes I get anxious about situations, but I quickly return to a point of soulful peace.

Anxiety robs me of happiness in the present moment. I am committed to living through each minute with consciousness and presence of mind. It is pointless worrying about things that I have little control over.

I surround myself with people and things that keep me centered. That is the solution to freeing my soul from the discomfort of negative emotion.

Today, I am emotionally strong because I maintain a close connection to my soul. My life is fulfilling because I choose to surround myself with positive energy. It is wonderful to project goodness to the world.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What are some of the positive emotions that I nurture?
2. How do I encourage positivity in my work life?
3. How beneficial is it to express my negative emotions?
