Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.
I am the only person who knows me as well as I do.
There is an intimate connection between my soul and mind that only I am familiar with. It brings self-awareness and helps me to determine how to spend my time.
Only I know how to balance my own emotion and intellect. Although others give advice from both dimensions, they are far from my center of truth.
My life choices are based on what I know is right for me. When I am at a professional crossroads, I rely on my balance of common sense and emotional wellness to make a decision. I know that both have a part to play in my ultimate satisfaction.
When I listen to my own voice, I am able to choose which relationships to prolong and which to bring to an end. I recognize the importance of having my personal relationships reflect who I am and what I believe.
Knowing myself makes it easier to determine how to walk through life. It makes difficult decisions simpler because I stay away from compromising my beliefs.
My gut instincts are valuable to me because they connect with all elements of my consciousness. I take the advice of my instinct above anyone else’s.
Today, I know who I am and accept myself without apology. Outside influence provides a look at alternate realities, but I am content with deciding the way forward based on my inner voice.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. How do I quiet the voice of doubt whenever it speaks to me?
2. How do I know when it is okay to take the advice of someone else?
3. What factors do I use to judge someone’s intentions for me?
