Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.

I love getting a blank slate in various aspects of my life.

The unknown offers constant opportunities for me to grow and learn.

Taking a sabbatical in a new country is exciting to me. It gives me a chance to expand my awareness. I am more conversant when I expose myself to things that happen in other parts of the world.

Moving to another country gives me a chance to learn a new language. Having that ability allows me to communicate effectively with many more people than before.

Having a blank slate allows me to structure my experience in the way I see fit. Creating my own reality gives me a sense of freedom. It redefines my identity and exposes me to a new life. That is an exciting prospect for me.

When I put myself in an unfamiliar scenario, I get to exercise new skills and abilities. Having to fend for myself teaches me how to be creative and nimble in decision-making. Each new experience equips me to handle future difficulties with ease.

I exercise my mind when I am forced to figure things out on my own. I love the challenge that comes with that.

Today, I celebrate each opportunity to venture out into the unknown. My future is exciting because I am unafraid of jumping into something completely new. It is fulfilling to come out on the other side stronger and more enlightened.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How do I go about choosing an opportunity or new venture?
2. How much influence do my loved ones have on my life choices?
3. Which of my current opportunities look the most rewarding?
