Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.

I am an artist.

I create beautiful things and make ordinary experiences special.

I present food like a chef. It is easier to eat healthy when nutritious meals and snacks look appealing. I set the table and use fine china even when I am dining alone.

I decorate my home and office. I pick colors and patterns that lift my spirits. I display objects that remind me of loved ones and happy memories. I create a friendly and peaceful space for myself and others.

I do crafts on my own or with my children. I knit a warm scarf for a friend or recycle a milk carton into a bird feeder.

I sing and dance. I write a love song for my partner. I play music while vacuuming and washing dishes.

I volunteer my time to help my community and the causes that I care about. My actions help to provide affordable housing and clean parks.

I look for opportunities to be innovative at work. I increase quality and cut expenses.
I choose words that have the power to heal and uplift. I offer constructive feedback to a coworker. I pay a sincere compliment to a stranger on the bus. I tell my parents how much I love them.

I appreciate the wonders that surround me. I spend time outdoors finding inspiration in nature. I admire the talents and achievements of others. I recognize objects with superior design in dollar stores and luxury boutiques.

Today, I express my creativity. I make the world a more beautiful place.
