Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. I focus on the present moment and take life as it comes.
I remember that hardships are temporary. I face difficulties with optimism and resilience. Overcoming challenges makes me stronger and wiser. I rely on my faith and learn from experience.
I set short-term goals. Big projects feel more manageable when I break them down into smaller steps. I figure out what I can do today to get started.
I am patient with others and myself. I persevere until I achieve what I want.
I notice small blessings. I find opportunities to celebrate each day instead of waiting for summer vacation or national holidays.
I pay attention to my physical and mental needs. Taking care of myself gives me the capacity to do the things that are important to me. I get eight hours of sleep each night, eat a balanced diet, and exercise regularly.
I practice giving. I listen closely to someone who wants to tell their story. I invite my neighbors over for coffee or help them with their yard work. I donate time and money to charities I believe in.
I have fun. I set aside time to laugh and play. I accomplish more when I take breaks and feel happy.
Today, I take each day as it comes. Appreciating each moment makes my life more fulfilling.
