How was the first week of the New Year? Now, we are in the second week, and let’s take a look and see what that means. So, on January 10th, Mars in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces. There is a high chance that there is deception going on. You will want to be very careful around your colleagues who may not like you or your competition as they could quickly throw you under the bus.

The best thing to do on that Monday is to be very mindful that you could get played in brutal ways. So you do not want to be too trusting. On the flip side, try not to get too defensive with others, too, because you may think that someone is after you when they are not. That will only create conflicts.

At the same time, and on the same day, the Sun in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces. That means your creativity and intuition are heightened, which may help you be more discerning. It is a good day to use imagination when it comes to strategizing. However, don’t get too lost in daydreaming, as that is when you may not get enough work done resulting from that.

Then on January 12th Mercury in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus, which can cause you to act before thinking. So on that Wednesday, the thing to do is to make sure you proofread the work you create carefully and not send unedited emails either. You don’t want to lose any potential business due to carelessness.

And, on Friday, January 14th, Mercury turns retrograde in Aquarius. Yes, that dreaded time is happening again. Mercury will be in retrograde for a few weeks, which means you do not want to start new projects. However, you do want to finish old projects. So, prepare yourself for having many misunderstandings and technological issues as it is happening in Aquarius.

Then on Sunday, January 16th, the Sun conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn, which will make you feel that you are in control on that day. It is an excellent day to do some problem-solving, but do not attempt to control anyone, or it will backfire since the energy affects them. Let’s see how the signs do this week.

Aries – You will feel an urge to learn about your roots and your history, and you may make an unexpected discovery when you do. This will cause you to feel differently about yourself, and you may be distracted from your work due to it.

Taurus – Are you finding joy in your work? That is the question you will be asking yourself. Do you consider your work as work or a hobby? You may be feeling you are at crossroads as you think you should stick to your career, but you question how happy you are with it.

Gemini – Your health regimen is something you have been focusing on over the past week. One of the things you will find is that you may not be drinking enough water, which you will find this week when you realize how less productive you are when you don’t drink enough. Set a reminder to yourself to go for a glass of water at certain times a day.

Cancer – You may want to look into your legal documentation this week, such as updating business contracts as you make some changes. Your personal life will impact these energies as well, which means making changes to your will could be a good idea to do this week.

Leo – Since the energies are centered in your 8th house, you will have the urge to delve into secrets as you will have a good chance of figuring out some formula that a competitor has been using. Especially towards the end of the week, you can use it to your advantage.

Virgo – There is a chance you could go on a business trip to another country soon, and the arrangements may be made this week. If not, you will work with others in different countries to gain a new client from overseas, or you may find a business connection that can help you somehow.

Libra – You may worry that your reputation has been compromised somehow. Perhaps some bad reviews about your business were influencing others, or you find that you are not treated too well by your coworkers. The best thing to do is to ask around if there is an issue about your reputation and find out what it is so you can rectify it if it is the case.

Scorpio – You realize that your friends are very much tied to your professional life. You will be evaluating your friendships this week as you may wonder if some could be toxic to your productivity and energy. Do your friends have the best intentions at heart? By the end of the week, you will not have a problem with getting rid of those who seem to be toxic to you.

Sagittarius – The issue with hidden enemies or competition is still a problem this week, especially with the harsh Mars and Neptune aspect affecting you heavily. The frustration may lead you to get into a bad habit and do your best not to give into that. All you can do is keep an eye out, and you may want to offer your existing clients or customers something unbeatable and advertise enticing reasons to join you.

Capricorn – This is a decisive week to remind you how much in control you are of your life. Sure, that does not mean that things out of your control happen, but the things you can control you want to be at your best at. That will remind you that you want to make the best of your personal and productive life, so you function well. Make sure you get enough sleep and eat healthily, which are things you are in control of.

Aquarius – You will be evaluating your skills this week, and you will see that you have an abundance of them. You may not be using them to your best ability which makes you think you don’t have enough. But once you do a complete evaluation, you will see that you have so many more skills than you initially thought, and you will want to look into doing something with them, so they do not go to waste.

Pisces – The best thing to do is to watch your words as the Neptune and Mars aspect will impact how you speak. You may find yourself unintentionally sarcastic and rude, potentially costing you business if you don’t tone it down. Communication will be your main challenge this week, and the best thing to do is be aware of it.

The week finishes off with Mercury going into retrograde again, meaning finishing up old projects and brainstorming for new ones over the next few weeks. Don’t start anything. And most importantly, hang in there.
