“Don’t ignore your dreams, in them your soul is awake and you are your true self.” ~Bangambiki Habyarimana
Dreams can really make you think because they are full of signs and symbols that are derived from your subconscious which usually shows that there is an area of your life that needs to be focused on. And this is why jotting down dreams upon awakening into a journal to keep by your bedside is important because the more awake you are, the more the memory of the dream fades. And by jotting down your dreams can help you interpret what your subconscious is telling you.
Dreams can also be prophetic or can be past life memories coming through. And one of the most common dreams that women have is pregnancy dreams. It is self-explanatory as there is no need for interpretation in that case for women that are pregnant or that are planning to become pregnant.
However, for those who are not planning to get pregnant may wonder why they are having dreams that are about them becoming pregnant.
What Do Pregnancy Dreams Really Mean If You Are Not Pregnant Or Planning To Be?
Now let’s begin to pick this apart.
Pregnancy is about growing, developing, and creation. If you are developing an aspect of yourself such as taking on a new lifestyle or taking a new course, you could end up having a pregnancy dream. That is because a new aspect of yourself is being created. And if the pregnancy in the dream is going well, then you are having an easy time growing into your new self. If you are having a dream about having a rough pregnancy, then that is an indication that there is a part of you that is struggling while growing.
Perhaps when it comes to a dream where you are pregnant and having a difficult pregnancy, you may be taking on something to develop yourself that can cause some anxiety if you are moving away from your comfort zone.
Additionally, pregnancy dreams can also represent something you are creating that has nothing to do with taking on a new lifestyle or taking a course. It may have to do with you creating a business or starting a new hobby. Especially if you are not taking on a new lifestyle or growing in any other way.
There you go. Pregnancy again is all about creating something new, and it has nothing to do with you literally getting pregnant. That means if you are concerned about what that dream means if you don’t plan on having kids or any more kids, then you will then look at yourself and ask how you are growing, developing and what you are creating in your life if you are not starting a business, a hobby, or taking a course.
You may also be growing as a person by moving out of your comfort zone in general and pregnancy would most definitely symbolize that as well.
