Each day, we provide a series of daily affirmations and reflections designed to help you get that ShineBuzz feeling. We suggest that you read through the affirmations (aloud if possible, in your head if not) and meditate on them for a few moments. You can also choose one or two that speak to you and carry them with you throughout the day. When you’re finished, take a few moments to answer the reflection questions at the bottom in your journal or add them into your meditation, whichever works best for you. Here are today’s affirmations and reflections.
My actions shape my experiences. The more I give away, the more I have to enjoy.
I show my friends and family members how much I love them. I help them out when I can if they are busy at work or want to go to a ball game. I write them poetry and send flowers without any special occasion.
I raise my children to be kind and responsible adults. I play games with them and read bedtime stories. I ask them about their day and listen when they want to talk.
I hang out with friends. I schedule standing dates for coffee and lunch. I reach out to old pals when we fall out of touch.
I collaborate at work. I support the team and share credit. I lend a hand when a colleague has a tight deadline. I bring them coffee or help with copying.
I do favors for contacts in my network. I offer referrals and introductions. I pass along job leads and interesting articles. I provide constructive feedback and enthusiastic encouragement.
I teach others what I know. I learn new things when I share my expertise. I volunteer for a panel at a professional meeting or mentor high school students in my neighborhood.
I donate time and money to worthy causes. I participate in making my community a healthy and vibrant place to live. I shelve materials at the library and raise money for hospitals.
Today, I share my blessings with others. Generosity and gratitude give me a sense of connection and fulfillment.
